I’m Pauline, a British girl with a bedouin heart. I lived several years in the Middle East and have had many adventures in that region and elsewhere. I write about my experiences as a solo woman traveller and cyclist, my love of the Arabic people and their culture, and my particular passion for camels.
The bedouin (bedu) are desert nomads; tough and resilient survivors with big hearts, wandering the deserts of Arabia and Africa in search of resources to sustain themselves.
